About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an CAD Drafter in our Brisbane office. Preference will be given to drafters with 3 + years of proven experience in experience in drafting of electrical systems. Our CAD Team is passionate about ensuring that our clients’ electrical drawings are accurate and prepared to comply with the correct standards. But it’s not just about sitting behind a computer all day – this role means getting out on site, meeting with clients, collecting data and validating existing drawings.
Candidate Profile:
You will be have a Cert IV in Engineering Drafting (or a trade background) and work experience drafting electrical systems.
Desirable Experience and Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- At least 3 years of relevant CAD experience, with demonstrated ability to prepare:
- Single Line Diagrams
- Motor drive power and control schematics
- Termination diagrams
- Equipment layouts
- PLC Panel layouts
- Block diagrams
- Client-focused with the ability to meet deadlines and budgets
- Strong communication skills with peers and engineers in small teams.
- Electrical CAD Experience across a variety of Heavy Industries.
- Extraordinary attention to detail.
