About the Role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified control system engineer with a experience in SCADA, PLC, Telemetry, and project execution, who can provide industry-based knowledge and expertise to join our Newcastle office. We are looking for emerging and established engineers looking for entry level positions through to Senior Engineers who can mentor and lead.
Your role will be to engineer and design technical automation solutions across multiple PLC and SCADA platforms. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment on a range of projects within different sectors.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree qualified in Engineering with extensive experience in control systems design, programming, and commissioning.
- Expertise in Industrial Control and Automation (SCADA, PLC), including design, software development, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience with major vendor platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Experience and Skills:
- Experience with legacy control systems and modernisation strategies.
- Knowledge in electrical design, fault finding, and commissioning of industrial automation plants.
- Proficiency in PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
